Photography Workshops at “Hawks

via Chile for 14 days to photograph some of worlds most beautiful birds including five species of penguins. Johns one word description of this experience is “awesome”.

Throughout the workshop John will be on hand to provide 1-2-1 tuition and between both John and Gareth they have created some of the most natural looking backgrounds possible. If there is anything specific you would like to try, please do not hesitate in having a chat with us, we all always up for a challenge.

All events will commence with a warm welcome, a hot drink and a chat with John about what you want to achieve from the day, what techniques you would like to experiment with, and any equipment questions and advice you may wish to chat about.

Some of the superb opportunities we being provided will include portraits, close ups, and for the more experienced, possibly in flight shots.

These events are aimed at any anyone with an interest in birds of prey and photography no matter whether you are a beginner or the more experienced photographer who wants to do something special.

The majority of our workshops are conducted outside in the open air therefore

benefiting from natural day light, however in the event of either a special request or bad weather we will soon be able to offer a full studio set up complete with an “Elinchrom” lighting kit.

We will discuss and accept reservations from individuals, groups, photographic societies, as well as charitable and corporate organisations. All times are agreed as and when a booking is confirmed, this is with the exception of the event being one of our pre-organised workshops and in this case the times would be stipulated in the advertisements.
